Copyright policy

SharkVault publishes original commentary on retro games drawing on a private editorial research corpus of contemporary gaming press. During the current period, SharkVault does not publish reproductions of any third-party material — neither text excerpts nor images — on public pages. The research corpus is used only by SharkVault editorial staff to inform original writing.
When SharkVault begins publishing short attributed excerpts as primary-source citations on public pages, this policy will be updated to include the full DMCA agent designation, takedown procedures, and per-publisher contact protocols. Until that moment, all citation activity is internal editorial only.
Rights-holder contact
Rights holders may direct any inquiry — including pre-publication notice of objection to future citation use — to copyright@gamesharklabs.dev. Mail is monitored daily and forwarded to GameShark Labs leadership.
For active DMCA notices targeting currently-published material, use the formal procedure on the takedown page instead — that route has documented timelines and counter-notice procedures.
